I have family in America and we visited twice, in 2023 and last year, before the election. Since then, I have become increasingly repelled by the arbitrary, often violent behaviour of the US government and its officers and by the bigotry and racism that is officially facilitated. I’d put the USA on the same level as places like the Russian Federation. No go area.
