Not only will holding back the vote from Harris help a far, far worse person, but also it will diminish their future influence. Whether Harris wins or loses, they weren’t helpful. Why expect to be influential? It is much more powerful to be able to say, “I was there when it counted despite my disagreements. You now owe me.”
