Here in the UK on Remembrance Sunday, millions gather at monuments throughout the country to honour the sacrifices made by our family members and friends in the conflict to defeat the horrors inflicted on the world by the Nazis in World War Two. The cruel irony cannot be ignored, that only days before, the American people in an unfathomable act of betrayal, elected as their president someone who embraced the ideals of the same cruel regime, their own countrymen died fighting against. By doing so they brought shame upon themselves, the memories of those fallen service members in Arlington and other war graves across the whole world. The attack on Pearl Harbor was described by the president of that time as “a date that will live in infamy.” Well for me this election result is a comparable act of self inflicted treachery. My father and my uncles all served, my mother and aunt also worked in factories supplying the forces. They all thankfully survived but millions didn’t. Many millions suffered horrendously, dying directly from the conflict or by starvation, torture and the obscene cruelty of the Nazis. More than I could imagine in my nightmares were innocent babies, children, women, the elderly, minorities and those with disabilities, imprisoned in concentration camps to be tortured then gassed. My heart breaks to contemplate their suffering and I rage to think anyone could ever believe that these atrocities could be justified. So I say to those who voted for Trump who said, according to General Kelly, “Hitler did some good things,” shame on you and may you reap the whirlwind you’ve sown. Your fallen service people will be turning in their graves at your stupidity and ignorance.

Just LOOK at the staggering STUPIDITY of large percentages of people from marginalized groups targeted by Project 2025 who voted FOR their Executioners!
